Important Update for Shared Branch Users

Starting May 1, 2025, Credit Union members who use Shared Branch locations out of their home state will have a new, seamless, and secure way to verify their identity through IDCheck. This enhanced process helps protect your account and ensures faster service when visiting participating branches.

When visiting a Shared Branch location, simply follow these steps:

  1. Scan the QR code in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
  2. Select TFed Credit Union from the drop-down list.
  3. Enter your member number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
  4. Upload a photo of your ID and take a selfie to validate your identity.Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!
  5. Show your one-time passcode to the teller. (Passcode is valid for 20 minutes.)

This process is quick, easy, and helps keep your information safe.

Visit tellers for loan payments, deposits, transfers and inquiries at more than 5,400 CO-OP Shared Branch locations nationwide.

Quickly and easily perform many common transactions at hundreds of CO-OP Shared Branch express self-service terminals in participating credit unions.

To access your account you’ll need three things*:

  1. The full name of your credit union: Taunton Federal Credit Union
  2. Your account or member number
  3. A valid US, state, county, federal, or city government issued picture identification with signature

CO-OP Shared Branch express is a shared branching service delivered primarily through self-service terminals. It enables you to skip teller lines, have 24/7 access to many locations and conduct your most frequent transactions quickly and easily.

  • Name of your credit union
  • Account Number (you must be an account owner)
  • ATM/debit/credit card or driver’s license with magnetic stripe with your name (must match name on account)

The first time you use CO‑OP Shared Branch express, you’ll need to know a few account details:

  • Primary Account Holder’s Social Security or Tax ID Number associated with your account
  • Phone number associated with your account
  • Zip code associated with your account
  • Street Number of the address associated with your account
  • Withdrawal
  • Cash advance
  • Transfer funds
  • Cash* and check deposit
  • Cash payment*
  • Check payment
  • Transfer payment
  • Balance inquiry
  • Check transaction history
